terrible place, my grandma was here and she had dementia, suddenly her wedding rings went missing, that she had over 40 years and had never taken off. never got them back. thieves
My mother was treated badly . It is my regret that I put her in this home . Originally it was family locally run and was brilliant. Then it was sold and everything changed . My mother was mistreated. Then the home went into safeguarding. I moved my mother to another care home but the damaged had been fine and sadly she never recovered.
I think it should be said that this care home is open 24 hours a day for family to visit their relatives , you can just turn up which is great and reassuring !
How this care home gets a 4.3 rating absolutely astounds me! I'm am so glad my grandmother is no longer a resident there. I don't want to enter into details, but beware people is all i will say.
I love it here at Fairways, the staff are fantastic and go well above and beyond for the residents. The home is bright,cheerful and homely.
