About Our Care Home In Worcester At Stanfield Nursing Home, we have been providing care home services in Worcester for over 30 years. Our home is independently owned and privately run. As experienced carers, we aim for the highest possible standards of care for all our residents. We feel privileged to care for them. Our staff follow a person-centred, sometimes called a holistic, care philosophy which informs all of our care practices. We encourage residents to be active stakeholders and decision-makers in their own care plans. They are a real partner in any decisions taken. At our care home in Worcester, it is our responsibility to make sure that we use communication methods suitable for our residents. This is so they can participate in the decision-making process. Some people may not be able to communicate what they want as easily as others. This may be because of cognitive decline, for example. In those cases, we have a duty to make sure they get the relevant information in a format that is acceptable to them. Often we have to depend on those supporting the resident in achieving our goals. By providing our care home services in a person-centred, holistic way, we always keep our residents’ wishes, safety and well-being at the heart of everything we do. As a result, we proudly create an environment in which every resident can enjoy the highest possible quality of life at our nursing home in Worcestershire.
