First day of respite for dad yesterday so hopefully all will go well. We didn't arrive at the home until late afternoon but staff were really welcoming and understanding with both dad and myself. It's a difficult task when you're placing a parent in care but staff were lovely in easing our worries.
We are in the process of finding a place in care for my mother-in-law and had been recommended to Ashbourne Care Home. On our initial visit to look round we were most impressed by the facilities and the staff who were all pleasant to deal with.
My brother in law spent the last part of his life here and he received the absolutely best care anyone could have had. The staff are just the best caring loving and dedicated people doing a hard job with a smile and kind word no one could ask for more for their loved ones
