The home has its own hairdressing salon with a hairdresser visiting twice a week, a chiropodist every few weeks, and weekly pampering and exercise sessions. Meals are cooked fresh in the kitchen by a qualified chef and kitchen manager, menus change often and residents are asked their choices. Activities co-ordinator Kat runs gardening, art, quizzes, bingo and pet therapy, with entertainers visiting at least three times a week and trips out to local parks, farms, museums and the pub.
