Tanglewood reviews: what do families say?
Lovely walks to do with children, Forrest school on certain days. Plant sales and a café. Staff young and missed some of our order, food was nice and coffee good. Large carpark.
Lovely walks through the woods and around the lakes, a level path so easy to walk. Free entry, but it would be churlish to not enjoy the coffee cabin with very reasonably priced food and drinks. A great way to spend some time and, if you are lucky enough to have hot weather, the shaded woodland will be very refreshing.
Dog friendly! Lovely peaceful walk through the gardens / forest / Wood on well laid out paths and directions for ease of travel. Finished off with a lovely coffee and piece of cake. Doesn't get much better than that.
Edited: April 2026. It was so lovely to revisit Lanjeth today, and see how much it has developed since our first visit! Lovely to see the cafe has expanded as well with indoor …
Beautiful walk around this water nursery. Lovely and peaceful place with loads of birdsong. A great coffee shack with excellent cakes available.
